Marco Patuano, chief executive at the Italian operator, said on Tuesday that the company has proposed buying the stake either in full or in part.
“We have offered two options; a total purchase or a partial one,” Patuano told reporters in Rome, Italy. “There will be talks soon.”
Telecom Italia first considered the Metroweb stake acquisition in March 2014.
