The District of Columbia, Georgie, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin will now have access to these services, following AT&T’s initial launch in May this year.
“We are committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience with our VoLTE roll-out, and will continue to optimise, test and expand our VoLTE coverage throughout 2015,” said John Donovan, SVP of technology and operations at AT&T.
“We also expect to see more VoLTE-capable devices available by the year’s end and next year, as well.”
T-Mobile and Verizon have also launched VoLTE services in the US.
