Dutch telco KPN has received approval from the Netherland’s Autoriteit Consument & Markt (ACM) regulatory body to acquire a further 9% of FTTH operator Reggefiber, bringing its total hold in the company to 60%. [read more]

European cable firm Altice has made a €7 billion bid to acquire the Portuguese assets of Portugal Telecom from Brazil’s Oi. [read more]

Bharti Airtel has reportedly called off its 7 billion rupee ($114 million) deal to acquire Loop Mobile, following delayed regulatory approval. [read more]
