SES to provide satellite services to US army

Satellite provider SES has announced a partnership to provide satellite capacity services to the US Army.

The company has been awarded the contract to support the Army Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) through the Defence Information Systems Agency (DISA).

As part of the five year deal, SES will be used as a subcontractor to business company AIS Engineering.

The solution designed by SES and AIS will provide the support for the Army’s research and development activities, in addition to testing new applications for mobile missions.

SES has more than three decades experience in supporting the army, and it has been developing the WIN-T program for six years.
