Telarix expands into Bolivia and Guatemala

Interconnect company Telarix has deployed its iXTools and iXLink services to Tigo’s Bolivia and Guatemala operations.

The move is designed to provide end-to-end automation for Tigo’s wholesale network, and the SaaS platforms will provide end-to-end solutions for trading of business documents, in addition to routing, billing and settlement for a carrier network.

Telarix said the solution gives visibility, control and efficiency across the entire network, ensuring the optimal relationship to buy and sell voice, SMS and video across multiple properties.

“As we move forward in executing our vision of a unified wholesale network, it is important we have the right partners in place,” stated Italo Segini, director of international carrier business. “The wholesale industry is facing new challenges with new innovations and technology.”

Telarix’s Luciano Garavaglia, VP Sales in LatAm said the wholesale business is becoming increasingly competitive, and Tigo is seen as essential for its operations.

“We are looking forward to supporting their strategic efforts, providing them the support we provide to top-tier carriers in the market and ensuring their entire network – including SMS, video, data and voice – are optimised,” he said.
