OnMobile appoints new CEO

Mobile service provider OnMobile Global has appointed Rajiv Pancholy as its new CEO following the resignation of co-founder Mouli Raman as CEO earlier this month.

The appointment is effective June 2 and Pancholy joins the company with approximately 30 years’ experience in the industry.

“Rajiv is a great leader and has done some outstanding work in the telecommunications domain. His reputation for spearheading successful businesses precedes him and I am confident that his strong governance skills will stand us in good stead,” OnMobile said in a statement.

As well as founding his own company, TTP Media, Pancholy has held high-level roles at TenXc Wireless, a company specialising in antennas, and Mitec Telecom, a designer and manufacturer of wireless network products.

Pancholy was also the president and COO of Microcell Connexions, Canada's fourth-largest national wireless operator.

“I am pleased and privileged to be a part of OnMobile. It is a company that has a leadership posture in the industry, is rich in talent and a preferred partner of some of the world’s most prominent mobile operators,” said Pancholy.
