Epsilon and HostSG launch ePoP in Singapore

Communications service provider Epsilon has partnered with web hosting company HostSG to provide a virtual PoP (ePoP) in Singapore.

The move will expand HostSG’s portfolio of services to its SME customers, providing its customers with access to over 500 network operators and enabling them to connect to 170 countries.

“The ePoP solution allows service providers of all kinds to expand their reach and the scope of their operation,” said Elisabeth Schwarz, regional director of Carrier Business APAC at Epsilon.

“For HostSG’s SME customers it transforms local presence into global connectivity and allows them to rapidly scale internationally.”

According to HostSG, SMEs in Asia are increasingly developing solutions globally and they are in need partners like HostSG to support them with both local managed hosting as well as global connectivity.

“In Singapore and across Asia, we see international presence as well as reliable connectivity as a key differentiator for hosting companies and this is why our work with Epsilon has been so important to our business,” says Kevin Foong, CEO at HostSG.

“Epsilon offers the expertise in international networking as well as a simple and practical model for reaching more markets and enabling our customers to succeed.”

In March, Epsilon partnered with Asian mobile group Axiata to establish an ePoP in Singapore.
