C4L reveals technology partner

Data centre co-location provider C4L has today revealed solution provider Digital Realty as what it describes as its first technology partner.

As technology partner, Digital Realty will help C4L to extend its data centre network footprint, bringing it closer to its aim of being one of the industry’s most-connected providers.

“This partnership represents more than two companies benefiting from collaborating expertise and ownership. It benefits those customers who are already loyal to us, proving that as a company, we are never standing still... we are constantly evolving our service,” said Simon Mewett, CEO at C4L.

In turn, Digital Realty will have access to C4L’s privately-owned cortex network, allowing the solution provider’s data centre customers to utilise popular connectivity platforms without the risk of exposing sensitive data.

“We are delighted to be working with C4L, whose reputation for secure high-speed networks is second to none,” said Bernard Geoghegan, managing director for EMEA at Digital Realty. “By optimising our data centre connectivity credentials, this collaboration helps us to continue to build our clients’ data advantage and power commercial growth.”

In December last year, C4L signed a deal with Zayo Group for the deployment of a fibre network between C4L’s 27 data centres in the UK.
