Kirkby most recently served as CFO of British television production and distribution firm Shine Group, which is owned by 21st Century Fox. She takes over from the company’s present CFO, Lars Nilsson, who said he is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Tele2 recently said it was exploring its options for its subsidiary in Norway after losing out in the county’s spectrum auction, and has announced key changes to its management team in the past few months.
