AT&T expands LTE roaming coverage

US giant AT&T has announced plans to offer 4G roaming in 13 more countries, bringing its total roaming footprint to 15.

AT&T claims to be the only US carrier to offer LTE abroad.

The company said it is expanding LTE roaming to cover Spain, France, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Guam, Antigua and Barbuda.

In December last year Canadian operator Rogers Communications and AT&T inked an LTE roaming agreement between the US and Canada, which was shortly followed by an LTE roaming deal with EE in the UK.
