Moldova partners with Astellia for service monitoring

Moldova’s national operator Moldtelecom has selected Astellia to audit the quality of its voice and data services on its 3G network.

Monitoring solutions provider Astellia has deployed its solution on a number of Moldtelecom’s 3G interfaces, to get an end-to-end view of service quality.

“Living up to the quality expectations of our customers is Moldtelecom’s leading motif,” said the company’s Victor Moldovanu.

“Astellia’s solution and assessments gives us the means to improve our customer’s experience, increase loyalty and drive revenues.”

Moldtelecom customers are expected to benefit from improved accessibility to voice and data services as a result of the auditing process, as well as more specific analytics of inbound roaming traffic.

“Network optimisation is particularly important when focussing on the experience of roamers and high data traffic users,” said Sebastien Schultz, Managing Director Europe at Astellia.

“We are pleased to help Moldtelecom provide a premium data service quality to these high-value subscribers, who are looking for reliable and fast data services,” Schultz added.

In March last year, Orange announced Astellia as its strategic partner, following collaboration between the two companies on the operator’s 2G, 3G and 4G networks over the last 10 years.
