Alcatel-Lucent improves IPTV for TTNET

Turkish broadband service provider TTNET has selected Alcatel-Lucent to track and improve the performance of customer communication devices.

Alcatel will deploy its Motive Data Management Platform (DMP), which allows TTNET to proactively troubleshoot any network and performance issues and consequently improve broadband and IPTV services for its customers.

“At TTNET we put a lot of effort in delivering a superior customer experience,” said Sahin Sen, CTO at the company.

“Maintaining a high level of helpdesk performance means having a detailed understanding of how the connected devices in our network are performing.”

TTNET has long been a user of Alcatel’s customer experience portfolio of solutions and Sen said that the French vendor’s technology would help TTNET to distinguish its performance in the marketplace.

Alcatel’s DMP adds analytics capabilities, while maintaining TTNET’s capital expenditure.

“We are very pleased that TTNET has decided to expand its customer experience management capabilities with the addition of Alcatel-Lucent’s Motive Data Management product,” said Luis Martinez-Amago, president of Alcatel-Lucent Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“To maintain its leadership position as the largest Internet service provider in Turkey, TTNET needs the best solutions available to care for the needs of their customers.”

Earlier this week, Alcatel-Lucent announced a deal with French operator SFR to upgrade its broadband access network.
