EuNetworks renews contract with Huk-Coburg

UK-based euNetworks has announced that it has renewed a multi-year contract with German insurance company Huk-Coburg to provide Ethernet services to over 47 locations across Germany.

The insurance provider has been using euNetworks' bandwidth infrastructure for the last three years.

The solution in place is based on a virtual private LAN Service (VPLS), allowing the Ethernet to expand beyond point-to-point connectivity, using a single Ethernet access circuit to reach multiple destinations.

“euNetworks has delivered bandwidth services to us for over three years and we continue to be impressed with their technical expertise, support and commitment to managing our network,” said Frank Naumann, head of IT of HUK-COBURG.

Earlier this month euNetworks announced that it will provide connectivity services to the new Volta data centre in London.
