GTS delivers network services to LUKOIL

GTS Central Europe has signed a contract with oil and gas company LUKOIL, which will see the telecoms provider deliver network services to LUKOIL’s facilities in Poland.

GTS – which was acquired by Deutsche Telekom in November this year – has implemented network infrastructure across LUKOIL’s 116 gas stations in Poland.

The multiservice network infrastructure from GTS is designed to support LUKOIL’s core operations, internal business applications and payment processes, as well as deliver a fully protected solution with backup services.

“Our comprehensive solution includes several ICT service components that are specifically tailored to their business needs,” stated Piotr Sieluk, MD at GTS Poland.

“This further validates GTS’ competence in designing and managing custom ICT solutions for large enterprise customers.”

GTS has also deployed Wifi networks with IP connectivity to the 116 facilities, which will be managed by LUKOIL.

“When dealing with customer data and payment processing, information security and network reliability are imperative,” said Audrius Stropus, president of LUKOIL Poland.

“It was crucial to find a reliable partner who understood our business goals and could manage our complex Polish network infrastructure. We are confident that our employees and customers will benefit from this co-operation with GTS.”
