Cormack officially named CEO of Ooredoo Myanmar

Qatari operator Ooredoo has today announced that Ross Cormack will officially head up its operations in Myanmar.

Cormack has been a senior representative of Ooredoo’s operations in Myanmar since it was awarded a mobile licence in June this year, and his position as CEO has now been confirmed.

Cormack attended Capacity’s Myanmar Connectconference in September of this year and will now look to drive revenue from one of the world’s least developed telecoms markets.

Telenor officially named Petter Furberg as CEO of Telenor Myanmar shortly after it was also awarded a mobile licence in the country.
