Telstra International Group has appointed Xiaowei Chen as CEO of Telstra China. Chen has extensive knowledge of China’s new media space and the online sector. Before joining Telstra, Chen was CEO for Orange Sky Entertainment Group, an integrated entertainment company that covers production, artistic management, advertising and new media. Over her 15 year career in the media and IT industry, Chen has held positions as president of The9 and China.com, as a consultant with McKinsey & Co, a global management consulting firm based in New York, and has also held roles as an anchor and executive producer for China Central Television.
